Authorities in Las Vegas, Nevada, are investigating the death of a woman who was found unresponsive on a sidewalk in the east valley on the morning of April 21, 2026.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded just after 8 a.m. to the 3500 block of East Bonanza Road, near North Pecos Road, after receiving reports of an unresponsive woman. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with apparent injuries. Medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
Detectives later determined that the woman had been battered at some point במהלך the night. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation as authorities work to piece together what happened.
Police are currently seeking witnesses and any available surveillance footage that may assist in the investigation. The identity of the woman has not yet been publicly released.
