Sad news has emerged with the passing of Elsie Kelly, best known for her role as Noreen Maltby in the hit ITV sitcom Benidorm. She was 89.
Her agent confirmed that she died peacefully on April 21, 2026, following a short illness, surrounded by her family.
Elsie Kelly became a household name through Benidorm, where her portrayal of the sweet and endearing Noreen made her a fan favorite. Her natural comedic timing, warmth, and gentle humor brought the character to life and left a lasting impression on viewers.
