It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Eric Schuessler, age 60, of Westminster, Maryland. Craig tragically passed away on April 19, 2026. His sudden departure has left his family, friends, and community mourning the loss of a man whose life was filled with love, hard work, and devotion to those closest to him.
Born on August 22, 1965, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Craig was the beloved son of the late Marlene (Cover) Schuessler and Jerry Schuessler. He built a career as an auto body technician at Maryland Collision Center in Owings Mills, where his skill and dedication earned him respect among colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his work, Craig was known for his love of riding his Harley, enjoying time with family and friends, and sharing laughter over a cold beer. His personality was marked by warmth, loyalty, and a zest for life.
Craig leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his children, Benjamin Schuessler (wife Sarah), Megan DeFeo (husband Jonathon), and David Schuessler, all of Westminster; his brother, Jerry Schuessler (wife Tiny); his grandchildren, Freya, Annabelle, Layton, and Maia; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis McCoy and several great-grandparents.
Craig’s legacy lies in his craftsmanship, his love for motorcycles, and the strong bonds he nurtured with his family. He will be remembered for his dedication, his laughter, and his ability to bring people together. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of family, friendship, and living fully.
