It is with deep sadness that the passing of Todd M. Lembcke, 64, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, is announced. He passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, innovation, and strong community values.
Todd was born on March 31, 1962, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Byron and Virginia (Dorman) Lembcke. On June 3, 1989, he married Sheila Tessen, beginning a lifelong partnership grounded in love, faith, and shared purpose.
In that same year, Todd and Sheila founded Sunshine Heating, starting the business in his father’s garage. Through hard work and determination, the company grew steadily, eventually expanding into its own facility. Todd was known for his engineer’s mindset, always curious and eager to understand how things worked. His problem-solving ability and forward-thinking approach helped shape the success of the business.
In 2013, Todd and his family purchased the Red Mill, a project that reflected his passion for restoration and community. His vision was to create a welcoming space where people could gather, find peace, and experience a sense of connection rooted in faith and togetherness.
Todd will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the warmth he shared with everyone he met. His presence uplifted those around him, and his deep love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. His children were his greatest pride, and he treasured the time spent with them and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his children, Joshua (Michelle), Jordan (Portia), Justin, Jarrett, and Isabella; four grandchildren; his brother Bruce (Marti); his sister Nancy (Bruce); and many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.
