A child was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning following a crash in Las Vegas, Nevada, after being struck by a vehicle in the east valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred near Orchard Valley Drive and Sahara Avenue, between Sloan Lane and Tree Line Drive. Authorities confirmed that the crash involved a vehicle and a juvenile pedestrian.
Emergency responders transported the child to the hospital, where they were reported to have sustained minor injuries. Officials also stated that impairment is not suspected in connection with the crash.
